In November of 2004 Mike oversaw a master-class organised by the European Film Academy (EFA) that took place in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The idea was to make a feature film in a week using DVCAM technology alongside Panasonic cameras and Apple computers. The Result was a 93 minute ‘mockumentary’ style documentary that charts real, fictional and scripted elements of the week. A collective was formed by all 20 participants and Mike; COMA was born. COMA has gone on to shoot a further feature film which is in post production. COMA was first screened to a packed cinema in Ljubljana on Sunday 7th November, 6 days after work on it began. COMA was also screened at the Berlinale Talent Campus in Berlin in February 2005. COMA was also screened at Cannes during May 2005 and is represented by Frank Mannion of SWIPE FILMS. www.SwipeFilms.com COMA also has its own website www.COMA-FILM.com
